Mid-June Check-In: Keeping Your Momentum and Finding Your Presence

Can you believe we’re already halfway through June?

If you’re anything like me, the first half of the month probably felt like a whirlwind. Between work deadlines, social commitments, and just trying to stay hydrated in this Houston heat, it’s easy to look up and realize you’ve been running on autopilot.

But here is the truth: Momentum isn’t just about speed, it’s about direction.

High achievers often mistake "busy" for "productive," and "tired" for "hardworking." But what if the second half of June wasn’t about doing more, but about being more present? Let’s take a collective deep breath together. Inhale. Exhale.

Now, let’s check in.

Your Mid-Month Mindset Reset: Reclaiming Your Energy

A woman journaling and reflecting in a bright setting

I want you to ask yourself a very honest question: Where is your energy going right now?

When we are constantly pouring into our careers, our families, and our "to-do" lists, we often forget to check the levels in our own tank. A mid-month mindset check isn't just a "nice to have", it’s a strategic necessity for women who want to lead and live with intention.

Research shows that taking a moment to recenter mid-year (or even mid-month) allows you to realign your daily actions with your actual definition of success. It helps you pivot before burnout sets in.

Quick Audit for the Soul:

  • What has brought you joy this month? (Even if it’s just that first sip of iced coffee).

  • Where have you felt most "out of body"? (When were you just going through the motions?)

  • What can you say "no" to this week to create space for a "yes" to yourself?

RECLAIMING YOUR ENERGY starts with acknowledging that your well-being is not a reward for hard work: it is the fuel for it. If you’ve been feeling a bit scattered, use this week to tighten your boundaries and refocus on what actually makes you feel powerful.

Early June Recap: We’ve Been Moving!

Women laughing and walking together in a park

Before we look forward, we have to celebrate how far we’ve already come this month. The energy in our community has been absolutely electric!

We kicked off June with some incredible sessions at the Core Lab, where we focused on building that inner strength that supports everything else we do. Seeing you all show up, sweat, and support one another is exactly why I do what I do.

And can we talk about the Stryd Walk Club? There is something so healing about getting outside, moving our bodies at a pace that allows for real conversation, and soaking in the community. Whether we were hitting the trails or just strolling through the neighborhood, the "Walk Club energy" is unmatched. It’s proof that fitness doesn’t always have to be high-impact to be high-value.

Deep Dive: Why 'Unplugging' is the Ultimate Strategy

Serene wellness and renewal setting

As high-achieving women, we are often taught that "unplugging" is a luxury or, worse, a sign of weakness. We think if we stop for a moment, everything will fall apart.

But here is the secret that the most successful women know: Unplugging is a high-performance strategy.

When you intentionally disconnect from the digital noise, the emails, and the expectations of others, you allow your nervous system to reset. You move from a state of "survival" (fight or flight) back into a state of "thriving" (rest and digest). This is where clarity comes from. This is where your best ideas are born. This is where you remember who you are outside of your titles and responsibilities.

This is exactly why I created the Presence Luxury Retreat.

The Presence Retreat (Sept 5, 2026)

Presence Luxury Retreat Flyer

On September 5th, I am hosting a 24-hour immersive experience for just 20 women right here in Houston. This isn't just a "spa day": it is a curated journey designed to help you unplug from the world and plug back into your own power.

Why you need this:

  1. Absolute Stillness: We provide the space you can't seem to find at home.

  2. Curated Community: You’ll be surrounded by women who understand the weight you carry and the heights you’re reaching for.

  3. Holistic Renewal: From movement to mindset work, we address the whole person.

If you are feeling the "mid-year itch" for a deeper reset, this is your invitation. We only have 20 spots because I want this to be intimate and impactful. You can learn more and grab your spot on the Presence Retreat page.

Your Action Plan for the Rest of June

Don’t let the rest of this month just "happen" to you. Take the wheel.

  1. COMMIT to one community event. Whether it’s Zumba tomorrow at POST or the Walk Club on Saturday, get yourself in the room. Movement is medicine.

  2. SCHEDULE your "Unplug" time. Even if it’s just 20 minutes of phone-free time this evening, start practicing the art of being present.

  3. LOOK AHEAD. If you know you need a major reset, don’t wait until you’re burnt out in December. Plan for your renewal now by joining us for the Presence Retreat.

You are doing so much for everyone else. Today, do something for you.

I can’t wait to see you on the dance floor or the trail!

With joy and power,

Autumn
